Terror Danjah decided to give for free the 2009 release of the best of the Hardrive releases. The grime pioneer says himself:

"Thanks for all your support, you must think I’m mad loooool, but it isn’t right that you the listener should pay for this comp and I haven’t seen a penny! I’m launching my new record label ‘HARDRIVE’ (ironic, yes I know lol) in september 2010, I hope this is a landmark in UK dance music. Look out for the first release by D.O.K HDR 001 ‘Golden Axe EP’"

Who said grime was dead? The two grime djs Elijah and Skilliam work hard to tell you that it's not! These partners run the Butterz Label (that started as a blog), are resident djs on Rinse FM,  helped to co-launch Grime Forum, and dj around Uk and Europe.
Even if they recognize that "UK has some of the best MC talent on the planet", they focus on playing mainly instrumental tunes, new unknown producers with big names unreleased and forthcoming material.
This year, their Butterz label released material of Terror Danjah, Swindle, Starkey, D.O.K, Royal T, TRC, Mr Mitch & SRC .... So watch out 2011, grime is back (and it never left!).

2010 was also the rise of their talent of selector and mixtape maker, with some guest mixes to XLR8R, Fact Mag or Numbers. They authorised Club, Bass & Wine to take their "Nothing but my Butterz T-Shirt on" (promo mix they done a couple of months ago for the launch of the Butterz T-shirt collection) for our Castle Mix Series, it was sleeping in our vault, and we couldn't keep it anymore, enjoy!
